This page contains the standard terms and conditions on any artwork, creations or products created under the title of @Studiohanna.au & hannalee.au. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before ordering. By ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the privacy policy statement on this website.

1. Safety warnings
The products are created with glass, solder a mixture of tin and lead (Unless stated lead-free), and may contain sharp wire decorations. The lead in our creations is safe to handle, it is only harmful if inhaled or ingested. Glass can break if mishandled, please KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN & PETS. Wash hands after handling as a precaution. Please see the “Liability” section below.
 
2. Product Disclaimer

The products are all hand-made by Hanna, the glass used in the creations is stained art glass which is different from common window glass. While common glass is perfectly smooth and flawless, art glass seeks visual character through aesthetic “imperfections” e.g. textural waves, striations, air bubbles and a variety of other natural effects. These characteristics mimic the hand-made sheet glass of centuries past. Art glass achieves its personality through its peculiarities and no two sheets are ever identical.
There may be products listed with multiple quantities, however, every single piece will be slightly different due to the nature of glass and being hand-made by a human. This can not be the subject of a return or refund.

3. Payment

Cash on pick up, direct bank transfer, *Credit cards and EFTPOS via Square payment are available. A processing fee of 1.6-2.2% applies to all credit card & EFTPOS payments upon checkout.

3.1 Cancellation

The cancellation can be processed only prior to shipment or pick up. Please contact us ASAP by replying to the order confirmation email if this is required. Once cancellation is approved I will request the payment to be refunded within 24 hours, however, the refund process can take up to 21 days to be fully processed depending on your country, credit card and bank. The refund processing fee of 2.2% will be deducted.

3.2 Returns Policy

I am unable to take returns once the item leaves my hands.

4. Delivery & Local pick up

Local pick-up is available by arrangement from Littlehampton, South Australia 5250.

Shipping is available Australia-wide & internationally where possible. Your order will be dispatched within a reasonable time after the date of the order and payment received. I will be in touch via email if there are any exceptional circumstances. Depending on weight and size, goods will be sent via our nominated courier or post. The dispatch notification email will contain tracking details & delivery updates.
 
4.1 Insurance on shipping order & Damaged on arrival policy
An insurance option will be offered upon checkout. While this option is not compulsory we highly recommend insuring your order. I pack my creations as best I can to avoid DOAs; generally speaking, it is rare to have them occur but it can happen. Should the need ever arise, please take videos and photos clearly and contact me via email ASAP. When doing so, provide your order details (name, order number, and which items are affected) so I can assist with your insurance claim. *You, the customer are required to lodge the claim to the courier / post directly.

5. Pricing

The price will include GST (Goods & Services Tax in Australia). Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on Delivery location and the size and weight of the complete packaged order.

6. Liability

I warrant that any creations from my studio are of satisfactory quality, and created with the utmost care.

I am unable to take any responsibility for any defect in the products arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, or negligence by the customer or any third party. If the product is used in a way that I do not recommend, or there is a failure to follow common sense, or any alterations or repairs are carried out without approval from me. My liability for any losses you may suffer under or in relation to this agreement and/or a product is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product you have purchased. Furthermore, I am not responsible for any losses including: 

1. death or personal injury & health issues caused by negligence; or

2. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

3. any matter for which it would be illegal for us to limit or exclude, or attempt to limit or exclude, our liability. And I am not responsible for any losses that fall into the following categories:
1. loss of income or revenue; or
2. loss of business; or
3. loss of profits or contracts; or
4. loss of anticipated savings; or
5. waste of management or office time; or
6. indirect, special or consequential loss;

7. Communications
Applicable laws require that some of the information or communications should be in writing via email.

8. Variations to these terms and conditions:

I reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time without notice and at my discretion. The customer will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at the time of placing an order.

9. Australian Law and Jurisdiction:

Contracts for the purchase of products through the website/shopping cart and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) will be governed by Australian law. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with such Contracts or their formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
